so swindler Bernard Madoff has been sent down for 150 years. OK he was a bit naughty but what is the point of giving a 71 year old 150 years in the clink?
Actually what is the point of giving anyone a sentence of 150 years, I mean come on the UK's oldest man is only 113 for Darwin's sake.

A more appropriate punishment would be to take away his money, and make him live in the world's grottiest council house on just a state pension.

Pro They really do need to start sorting punishments out. They probably thought it sounded good for the general public as they think we are idiots. In his case people wanted restitution not revenge x

I think those kind of judgments are pure silly. They don't even make sense! What about all those who lost their fortunes; big and small cos of that scam!
