What's on your I-Pod?

by Shipscook @ 2008-06-13 - 14:37:58

According to the press this morning men lie about what they listen to on their I-Pods so that they can appear more trendy.

"I'm listening to the latest Coldplay download" and it turns out to be the Stones.

I have solved this problem quite simply by never having had an I-Pod (or a walkman for that matter)not that I'd admit to liking some dreary wimpish miserable indy crap anyway.

I've never had a walkman or ipod either. But I do enjoy sitting down listening to the stereo (or is that an old fashioned term now, too?)

I've heard COldplay - and I'm amazed anyone can think it's trendy. Its just cold and miserable...

The Stones have always and will always piss over those dreary young twats.

I know the rest of the world may think the stuff on my mp3 is rubbish (metal, classic rock, blues, goth, techno metal and thrash)

But fuck 'em basically.

Why care what others think.

Taste is subjective. The individual is always right. Which sadly means that if someone thinks coldplay are the greatest band they have ever heard, then in their world (twisted and sick as it is) they are right.

Just as in my world - which lets face it, is this one - I am always right when it comes to questions of style.

Be affraid.

;)

Honestly, who would admit to liking Coldplay?! But then, I can never really understand much about trendy.

Bol, I'm far, FAR more likely to be listening to the Stones than bloody Coldplay :D

I like something high tempo on my walks to and from work!

Coldplay - Chris Martin (soppy)
The Rolling Stones - Mick Jagger (sexy)

The Stones are far more better I'd say!

I really do have the new Coldplay album on my MP3 player.

Really! It's not an ipod though.

when the walkman first came out , I would always be listening to something or other, but now I seem to prefer the sounds around me. Odd.

I don't have an I-pod ... I'm really behind there :(
